This Week: Reflections Judging… Two days off!
November 7, 2011Many Claremont students headed out of last week showing off their classrooms to their parents in our “Day in the Life of a Claremont Student” event last Thursday night. Parents enjoyed seeing their students’ school and handiwork. Students liked showing off and playing teacher for an evening.
This week, students will enjoy staying home for a couple of days. Classes are out on Tuesday, November 8 and Friday, November 11 for Election Day and Veteran’s Day.
Reflections judges will not be taking a break this week, however. Judging is underway for the 50 entries our students had in 5 categories: Visual Arts, Photography, Dance, Literature and Film. Thirty-eight Claremont students participated in the contest, with some entering in more than one category. You can check out their work in the hallway at school. Way to go Claremont students!
